Who doesn't love Nicole Ritchie? And who isn't a fan of House of Harlow? In our very eyes, Nicole did not remain only as a fashion icon. She grew into one of the leading holywood designers. Her House of Harlow 1960 Jewelry collection are always in demand and are kind'a must haves.

Go wild and free! Get your accessory!

“All good things are wild, and free.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

Did you hear that girls? Did you read that? Yes, some if not all good things can really be wild and free! Take a look at these creations and tell me if they aren't good enough - for free!

“I know many married men, I even know a few happily married men, but I don't know one who wouldn't fall down the first open coal hole running after the first pretty girl who gave him a wink.”
~ Buddha.

Haha! to dear Buddha. All the while I thought he never looked at any girl. It never occurred to me that he would be so willing to fall in a pit of coal all for the sake of a pretty girl's wink. Or perhaps, "All married men ..." Was he ever been married? That I do not know. But if that pretty girl he's talking about is wearing this Coal and Collected neclace with multi color effect that is easily adjustable, I bet his philosophy would apply even to those happily unmarried men. ;)

Cleopatra Cuff. Cleaopatra, she is a beauty, isn't she?

Oh, if only Cleopatra's nose was shorter, the entire world would have a new definition of beauty. The whole face of the world would have been changed! Her beauty was in itself not altogether incomparable. But somehow, creativity and wild imagination can entirely make a difference. 'Cause if not, how has her beauty been captured in a cuff? Oh, wait ... big apologies, ladies. Such a mistake! This isn't how Cleopatra looked like. But this is a kind that she would wear. Now, that definitely, isn't a mistake. But beware girls, this cuff creates a new image of Cleopatra. This makes a super rocker-esk Cleopatra.

“There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly.” ~ Richard Buckminster. But there is nothing in a butterfly that tells you it is just a pin. This Flutterfly Pin can be your own version of Blair Waldorf's pin. Would you need it in a scheme to make your boyfriend jealous and get his attention because he's becoming a workaholic or a self-possessed achiever? You don't need a Lord to get his full attention back , you just need a pin. ;) Haha! How easy.

“In fact, it makes me mad when someone kills snakes or dogs or cats or horses. I don't even like to eat meat - that is how much I am against killing....” ~ Charles

Good old Charles would love us 'cause we girls don't kill snakes, we wear them! Do the committee of snake murderers need proofs? What about this Snake Belt with Antique Circle? This vintage inspired belt is nothing but wild and adorable.

Ladies, I can go on and on for all the good things that are wild and free. But I had my chance and now it's yours. These are just my choices. You can visit the site to choose for more.

Disney Couture: Alice in Wonderland Jewelry

One of my favorite childhood fantasies is Alice in Wonderland. How would it feel to be suddenly in a land so heavenly that everything is perfect and fun? I always wondered.

I did not have a perfect childhood and it was not the most exciting phase of life one can have. But it was not that I did not get the best of it. It wasn't perfect, but it was good.

Everything that I needed and wished that I couldn't get, I had a way to get them. I would go early to bed, and when the lights were off, I always went to places where I had access to everything that I wished for - in my fantasies.

It wasn't until I grew older that I realized that all my day dreaming and fantasizing were actually not useless exits from reality; because through them, my creative imagination was developed. If only there was such a thing as mind recorder, I must have written so many stories.

It made me realize that I can be and that I am a writer.

Fantasy characters such as Alice were always a mystery to me. I would try to copy anything that could make me get a feel of how it is to be like them. Sometimes, I tried to be Princess Sarah. Lol. How foolish a child can be. Of course, it never was the same as in the movies.

But it never occurred to me that such creativity of fashion designers can bring a feeling to any other girl just how it is to be like Alice . Through the creations of Tom Binns, wonderland is at reach. Or it might not be that accessible actually, because even before these products can settle in the shelves, people are lining up to pre-order.

How fun and how glamorous!

These hot new products are creations of Tom Binns for Disney Couture.

Special thanks to the fashionably independent and the Film for the Alice in the wonderland photos.

Jewels at Vintage Jewelry Store

The jeweler allows me to wear the sapphire blue lake on my finger, the emerald green leaves around my neck, and take the citrine sunset with me wherever I go. Jewelry has become my daytime link to nature in an office with no windows. And if I have to work late, there's nothing like diamond stars and a pearl full moon against an onyx night sky. ~Astrid Alauda, "Office With No Windows"

Oh, I do wish that I own diamonds. But I don’t. Unless otherwise the fake diamond looking sequins on the outer sides of my fancy mid-shin black boots count. Thus, I can’t take inspiration from these diamonds whenever I have to work late, otherwise, I would have to put them on top of my working table. But the good thing is, if I do work late, my office room has got two small windows.

And yet, all the work related thoughts flew out my mind when I stumbled upon these gems which I, for most of the time, avoid to lay my eyes with if I walk past them at any shopping malls.

“Diamond is the queen of gems and the gem of fairies.” Alas, this jewel quote might land me in the book of quotes as the anonymous author and as a counterfeit for a well known quote about pearls, but that doesn’t matter really. This gem is a 14k gold. It has 16 rose cut diamonds. A 0.10 amethyst is mounted on an antique styled hand made silver plate that makes the blue looking queen above and in the middle of those diamond fairies. This sparkling beauty weighs 4.3000. It is worth $800.

I never thought that a queen’s chandelier can inspire a jeweler so much to make him come up with this pendant, 14k Gold Fleur de Lis with 6 diamonds. What more can I ask for a jewel? This antique looking beauty is literally shaped in the form of French Fleur de Lis. Six sparkling rose cut diamond engraved into gold frame were added to present a pendant for queens. It weighs 6.5000. It is worth $900.

I do love my honey so much and I do dream to live the rest of my life with him but my love for my current status sometimes forces the thoughts of marriage behind my head. However, seeing this wedding band totally left me in awe. My mind started dreaming imagining him on his knees, reaching for my hand and sliding this beautiful gold on my finger. I hear myself saying “yes". This vintage wedding ring is crafted of 14k gold and decorated with vintage style carving. It weighs 5.1000. It is worth $310.

These gems are amongst the rare that I found at Vintage Jewelry . They are a luxurious jewelry store that features vintage rings, antique jewelry, estate jewelry, antique engagement rings, fine jewels, and so much more.

Don't ever wear artistic jewelry; it wrecks a woman's reputation. ~Colette, Gigi, 1944, translated

I dare to oppose. What if those artistic jewelries happen to be vintage rings and gems that would make a queen? Do check the site and you would know what I’m talking about.

Smitten by Eco-chic Jacket and Mini Dress

As Cafe Fashionista would ask, "What has smitten you this week?" My answer would be quick and loud, "An eco-chic jacket and a dress!"

This pink comfy stretch jacket is from Nine West's weekend collection. This would certainly look best if thrown over a black fitting top, a black spaghetti strapped top, or a black mini-dress with black leggings or black hose. Moreover this is a kind of a versatile possesion which would make you best dressed even in a wet market or in an office, very functional. And here's the catch, this Nine West Lilac Jacket can be quickly wrapped and delivered to you for only $34.50 plus $3.45 shipment fee. Yes, that's right. It's very affordable.

Here's the black mini dress that I couldn't wait to talk about. It looks flirty, simply loud and fun. Honestly, it's empire cut is nothing extraordinary, but it's the tatto design that has highlighted it. According to the saler, this look has become the trademark of the Ed Hardy line. And indeed they're right. Whether you're on the beach or on the street, you will certainly get noticed in this fabulous design. What is more exciting is that this Ed Hardy Sun Mini dress is actually available for only $42.50.

But on another note, if you would like a little subdued look even with this dress, the lilac jacket above is the answer.

Now your question must be, "Where did I get these finds?" Oh, i can't be selfish enough to not share with you where I found them. They are from a boutique which collects and selects gently used or previously owned fashion products. They have got a number of crazy and hot clothes and apparels and they are adding more soon, so be quick to visit them at Crazy Hot Clothes.

P.S. Thank you so much for all your sweet comments my dear friends. Life is just too crazy for me this time that I have to put on hold my visits to your sites. Please be a little patient here and I'll see you as soon as I can. I just have to get over this national debate tournament that my debaters are attending for four to five days. Hugs :)

fancy piggy bank for a trip to europe

I found this fancy piggy bank from ETsy, an online store that I am planning to join [when I get my credit card fixed], and it's just perfect for my saving every penny for my trip to Europe to visit my boyfriend in December. It's called "little vintage 60's piggy bank".
Check it out at Etsy's store.
