Chuckie the dog got not one, but TWO new toys this week. As he's always been a sucker for stuffed animals, rather than manly dog toys (such as kongs, etc), we decided to get him one of each and let him chose.
That little turd... see what he picked!
That my little sissy dog. He's too funny. Happy Weekend!
Easily one of the best concerts ever. I saw Lady Gaga at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO and had one hell of a night. Sang and danced all night long. Some highlights:
Fans dressed up (or down, depending how you look at it) - I wish I had worn something a bit more fun:
She played "Just Dance" within the first few songs! Little clip for you....
If the video above doesn't show up for you, click here to view (that is not me screaming, I don't think...).
I was oh, so close to Miss Gaga:
"I love you and you love me, we love each other.
I want you to leave here tonight, loving yourself more."
Not short of bloody drama:
She has a new song, not one of the 100 songs on "The Fame". It's about a boy from Nebraska and it's so very pretty:
Again, if the above video doesn't show up, click here to watch it. Update: if you want to see and hear the full song of You and I - She was on the Today Show - see it here!
If you can get yourself to a Gaga concert, do it. So much fun! At least this little monster and the other thousands of fans did!
Because today is my ONE YEAR BLOGGING ANNIVERSARY, I decided to review the last year here. Remember there is also a GIVEAWAY going on - make sure to enter here for your chance to win a pair of shoes!
This past weekend I attended a quadruple birthday party. It was an 80s themed bbq, followed by a party bus to FunkyTown- an 80s, cheesy themed bar about 30 minutes away. It was an interesting night, I'll leave it at that - but a TON of fun.
I'm not sure how 80s I look, or if I just look totally mismatched, but I managed to take all my own clothes that I actually (sadly?) wear - just not styled in this fashion...
Bare legs again, I know.... Once you start, you just can't stop. Despite the weather (back to gray, cool and rainy - gggaaaaa!) Love this Liberty of London Dress. So comfy and fun!
Dazzled it up with a cumber bun. A sparkly, SEQUINED cumber bun (Urban Outfitters, years ago)!
Target blue jeweled flats
And here is my outfit with my new Target Bench I finally go this week!! I LOVE IT!
Today we've been married for one year! It seems like just yesterday we were planning and looking forward to the wedding & our honeymoon. And now it's already been one year! A busy year. A great year.
Today we also get to eat cake that is 1 year old! How it'll turn out, we'll find out... My loving parents held on to the top of our cake in their extra freezer. My mom wrapped it in layers & layers of foil, then in saran wrap and then in a heavily tapped up box.
It was a lot warmer.
Some pretty amazing people in this bunch.
Making it official.
Hopefully our year old cake will look something like this. :)
So only married a year, but we're in our 8th year together! I hope every year is this amazing. xoxo.
Last month, A Nantucket State of Mind, proposed a wonderful idea to do an Autumn Gift Exchange. She organized it all and I joined in. I was paired up with Two Hand Full of Daisies and received my gift this weekend!
WOW. She basically read my mind, as she ordered this LOVELY and GENEROUS gift of Philosophy's Grace bath and body products before I posted my Fall Wish List.
I got a sample size of Philosophy's Grace lotion a while ago and keep it in my purse to sniff and use sparingly (to make it last...). I love it so much and was finally thinking I needed to get with it and get some! It is such a clean and pretty scent. Now I can spare no more, as I have real sized bottles of this fabulous product. :)
Then, included in this already very nice gift, was a to-go pack of new makeup from Sephora. YUM. Beautiful shades and a handy little compact. I love Sephora soo much. This gift was just packed with good things, including a sweet note and card. Thank you so much Kathy and Seashell!
Remember the video of the dogs I posted last week? That black and white one is Charlie, and he needs your help! Please vote for him for the cutest dog. It'll only take a second. Go here and vote!
You can vote once a day, everyday! So remember to vote everyday! :) Thank you, thank you!
Well - the day came. The Season 3 of Mad Men started this evening with a _____ (fill in the blank).
I haven't decided quite how I feel about tonight's episode. I definately wasn't wooed or in love, but there was also a lot of hype to live up too. I think it set the season up for great potential...so the jury is still out with me. What did you think?
So now as we wait for next week's episode...
What Mad Men are you?I got Salvatore... haha! Well, I do have some Italian in me...and fashion sense (I think)... Who did you get?
I've definitely been wondering what is in an Old Fashion drink is (Don Draper's signature drink request)...now I don't have too. Find out how to make Mad Men's popular drinks. I'm interested to try the Old Fashion, thought it looks like a bit of work...
Anyways...interested in other watcher's thoughts on tonight's show...
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I want to leave you with a little idea of who I'll be spending mine with (among my hubs and his family, who are in town for a visit):
Meet Charlie and Max (and Spencer, who is a bit camera shy):
I think they're pretty funny. :) Hope you did too!
Sorry about the side view - haven't figured out how to rotate the video yet! :)
