How fashion lift my spirit when I'm stressed?

My blog looked abandoned, silenced for a week; but it wasn’t because I did not wish to write or that because I was tired, but it was because of my laptop, it broke down twice these past two weeks.
It stunned me to realize how dependent to a laptop and an internet connection I’ve become. It’s like my life depends a whole lot to it. Oh Technology, how you manipulate me?

Many things worry and stress me right now. But as a female and a fashion addict, can you guess what lifts my spirit?

Shoes!

These python-embossed leather booties from Shopbop is made in Italy. I adore its drape front and I think that I'm loving open toes a lot lately. Must it be because it's summer?

Sale, how I love thee! Shoes and Shoe bags

It has become a habit here at Creative Fashion to blog every weekend about fashion items I spotted on sale. I have identified these shoes that are worth your scrutiny, and if they pass, you need to hurry because they are flying off the racks.

It's always easy to do catwalk when you're wearing stilletos whereas it is a challenge when you're wearing flats. However, based from my observation, I realized that in order to fake heels when you want to wear flats, you should go for pointed toe. Whether it is for work, date or formal party, you would remain elegant in them. This Elizabeth and James Jessi Flat is a very good option if you are into flats. Although we love classic ballet shoes, having some ruffles is a good upgrade. Originally $235.00, This lovely flat is at 30% off. You can bring it home for only $164.50.

Either for a gorgeous dress or a chic jeans, this Anouk Boots Alba Boot makes a perfect complement. It's buckles and soft tan leather makes is perfect for spring and summer fashion. If you are into quality investment, then you better grab this baby which is at 20% off. Originally worth $595.00, you can bring them home for $476.00

Girls, if there is something that worries me when I travel, it's the safety of my shoes. I always try to protect my babies when I have to pack them for a journey by putting old news papers inside them especially for the toes. There is nothing more frustrating than unwrapping your luggage and seeing your beloved shoes deformed. If I have to save space or weight for my luggage when I'm flying, I put inside the shoes clothes that are soft such as jersy or silk instead of papers. However, I thought that having a bag exclusively for my shoes would not only be fancy but ideal. Take a look at this Luxe Shoe Luggage from Louis Vuitton. This trunk can fit 12 shoes comfortably. It is said to be the secret weapon of shoeaholics who are very serious about their shoes. I wonder if Imelda has grabbed one for herself but I'm sure that even if I am a shoeaholic, I would never be able to afford this trunk for $6,150 no matter how much I fancy it.

Therefore I thought, that maybe I better satisfy myself with this Royce Leather Deluxe Shoe Bag which gives an extra 20% off. It fits only a pair of shoes comfortably. I don't have to carry 12 shoes with me when I travel anyway unless I have to move to another continent which has to be after wedding, and if I do so, I would have to ship my shoes via fedex. Therefore, since I'm a woman who loves sale, you can bet I would rather take this one. It's supposed to be $130 but it sells for $104.

What about you girls? Did you find any pre-spring or pre-summer shoes at sale? Would you care enough to share your shoeaholic secret?

Sale, how I love thee! Gladiator sandals

gladiator

"I think women in flat shoes look beautiful – but – it is more difficult to look graceful. When women wear flat shoes they often walk: stomp, stomp, stomp –like a man. It is more of a challenge to be feminine in flats. You look at Audrey Hepburn or Brigitte Bardot when they wore flats – they were beautiful; like a little reindeer – but it is not like that for everyone.”

Those were the words of our great Manolo Blahnik. I'm not really sure if he was referring mainly to flat shoes or if his statement generalized all footwear including sandals. Because if he did, that calls for a debate. What says you, girls?

Would you take it if you're only beautiful but not graceful with these gladiators? Gladiator sandals are my favorite flats. They make me feel comfortable but smart. And even if they're flats, they don't really make me walk: stomp, stomp, stomp because I had rehersed for a million times how to walk gracefully that it applies even if I wear flats. [Okay, that's a little bragging.]

These Matt Bernson gladiator sandals are perfect for spring and summer. Celebrities spotted wearing them include Giselle, Lindsay Lohan, Nicky Hilton, Courtney Cox and Audrina Patridge . It's even perfect if you can get your next gladiators at 10% off using the code spring10.

Even demons love fashion?

demonic

When I opened Kate's mail today with her urging me to immediately take a look at her newest items on store, I knew that I'd love what I'll see. But I didn't think that they'd come with the strangest names I never would have expected.

Gorgeous new shoes from demonia. The Bullet militant boots would surely work best for me.

Fantastic accessories from Kreepsville. I purposefully dropped the second part of their names, "666". I just grew up hearing lectures from dad about these tripple numbers. Makes my hair stand. I might take the Cherry necklace; but that still, is debatable.

If you're kind of fan of horror movies and not scary-cat, then consider these as additions to your collection. If there's anything that does not rock about them, maybe that's just the parts of their name that starts with D or 6. But who really cares?

Anyway, I'm quite anxious about getting terribly overworked these days but not as anxious as the thought of having 46degrees celsius in the summers. Wish me luck girls.

P.S. Winner for our accesory giveaway will be announced on Sunday. Thanks to all who participated. :)

Get a man in uniform, get that military look!

And so, the youngsters you have today, even though there are far fewer of them - in World War II 16.5 million men and women in uniform, today roughly a million in uniform in spite of the fact that the country is almost twice as large a population as we had in World War II. ~ Oliver North

I truly admire men and women in uniform. Their greatness and heroic deeds are something I can hardly fathom. But hey, their outfit is something I can copy and wear. I show my admiration by patronizing Fashion fatigue.

I only have one set of this outfit: fatigue shorts, black navy sleeveless top, light brown navy belt with holes all around, and an algae-colored high heels. I feel a combination of smartness and sexiness whenever I wear the outfit. That's why I'm planning to add more. :)

Little black dress from haas

"When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place ..." Famous quote by a duchess.

We all girls of fashion know that the must of having an LBD [little black dress] is attributed to Coco Chanel. Her designs of little black dresses were so versatile, elegant and timeless that were worn by so many great and famous women; Princess Diana as my favourite.

The little black dress is essential. Every woman is ought to have it in her wardrobe. They don't have to be numerous, they only have to be few, at least one, simple but elegant black dress that can be worn up or down depending on the occasion.

I was really lucky during the tremendous "end of the season" sales of most high end products on Christmas, I was able to grab myself another LBD.

This little black dress is from haas. My pocket was hurt just a bit when I got it because it was at 50% off.

If you noticed girls, I don't wear jewelries. My fave accesories are only scarves, shoes and bags. But now, if you could see clearly that one finger of the left hand, there's a ring on it. ;)

I observed that haas is actually becoming my favorite brand. I was not concious for a while. I am loving it.
