Domestic Doll.

(Images sourced from http://neutraltuesday.blogspot.com/)

While I can honestly say I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift's music, I'm certainly a fan of this recent shoot she did for the New York Times! I love the modern twist of the 50's home goddess. Outrageous make-up and clothes. I would never have picked this as Swift; she certainly has a very versatile and high fashion look.

Disconnected.

Oh the joys of moving. I've been in the new place for about 2 weeks now and it has taken this long to get a working internet connection and phone-line. One thing you do realise when unable to go online, is all the spare time you have. For instance I spent the good part of an afternoon trying on my entire wardrobe and creating new outfit combinations...which wasn't a total waste given I can now incorporate some of my old pieces into updated looks.

I also found that my MacBook can do more than just surf the net. I rediscovered the joys of Photobooth...

The Enchanted Garden

Sølve Sundsbø

Vogue Italia November 2008

As you can tell from the state of my blog of late, I’m having a mini floral obsession…as a typically girly girl my love of florals will endure even if they are a fashion faux pas in seasons to come! Although this is an older photo shoot it very much sums up the direction I see florals going; morphed, hyper-coloured and trippy…Sølve Sundsbø never fails to impress with his amazing photographic skill; these images look almost painted…
