I finished my Mary-Kate sketch the other night, I had previously posted the Ashley sketch too. It’s very difficult drawing the Olsen twins as they have such unique and interesting faces. I hope I managed to capture at least some of their qualities. I think I like the Ashley sketch a little better…Anyway it’s always fun! xx

Inspiration Thursday...

I was flipping through a few old magazines today. What really struck me was the prettiness of fashion from yesteryear. I really miss the flowing dresses, pretty (floral) prints and extremely feminine embellishments... While I'm still loving the androgynous and new gothic feel of this years looks I do miss dressing and feeling like the girly girl I really am... Here are some of the images that caught my eye...

Inspiration for my newest work comes from an I.D Magazine fashion shoot featuring Agyness Deyn in Rodarte (Sorry the image is a little blurry). Of course with Agyness modeling all the images were beautiful but this one was my favourite. This dress is so amazing I absolutely loved the colour...maybe I'll use some of the others in the future...
