I thought I'd show you cats some more pictures from my room as it went down quite well last time. I'm currently banned from going out and am supposed to be in bed curled up as I'm still feeling pretty shitty, but almost as soon as I got up my cats commandeered my bed and I didn't have the heart to move them.
The pictures on my bed feature my old Ladybird books, some of them were my Mum's when she was little, so they mean a lot to me, my old encyclopedia I am reading, a moleskine I write in daily, a treasured cat mask, a pop-up book called Creation and a story book about a goose.
I keep my favourite books on my window sill, from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging to Atonement, along with nic-nacs, my favourite picture of my Grandparents and a memory box covered in animal stickers that I would rather die than lose because it has so many irreplacable things in. Also I got a few questions about what make-up I wear so you can see in one of the photos what I use. I'm a serial lipstick collector, and most of them are very natural shades. I don't wear much make-up normally. And you can see my little collection of perfumes too, Chanel no.5 is my favourite, but lately I've been using the last of a Chloe perfume I got for my birthday.
I thought the combination of me not wearing any make-up and the fact that there was a bright beam of sunlight in our lounge made for a great opportunity to show you my favourite sunglasses. £1.50 from the Sally Army. This is my favourite dress and hat. And I'm wearing an anklet I made yesterday whilst holed up in bed. The other anklet I made is on top of my books in the other pictures.
So, sort of a sentimental post to show you some of my treasures.
