My bed is a boat

We all sleep in the same arrangement we slept in all those years ago. Rose and Nan share her bed, and I sleep on a wonky sun lounger next to them. It used to sag in the middle until we poked a foot rest under my make shift bed, but now I've got a proper mattress. I guess it's more practical (it doesn't close up if I turn over in the night and I can sit on the end without it collapsing or tipping) but I sort of miss waking up with a stiff neck and cautiously getting up.

Here are some pretty pictures I found whilst trawling throught the archives of Bohemian Musings, the first blog I fell in love with.

Anyway. We're going to do some last mintue Christmas shopping today, the snow is thawing so we thought we'd get out quick! Still no clue if Mum and Dad will make it, last I heard they coudn't see the car because the snow was so thick. I found a really old childrens poetry book by Robert Louis Stevenson on a dusty shelf, so while I can't upload any pictures I take, expect a hell of a lot of quotes, inspiration posts and general ramblings.

I think I'll be posting more regularly on my other blog from now on too, although I'll still post daily here. I used to post much more on it, but since starting this blog it has taken a back seat. But check it out if you like general oddness or inexplicable pretty pictures. Be warned, it may not make much sense to anyone but me, it's more of a diary blog.
