Printed Flowery Tights Inspiration

“The worst was when my skirt fell down to my ankles, but I had on thick tights underneath.”
on tragedy ~ Naomi Campbell

That was lucky Naomi. To have your skirt fell down to your ankles without notice is embarrassing; however, having only beautiful tights between you and the world is a lot better than having only underwear, much more nothing. Therefore tights aren't only for fashion, but also for protection.

Did you know that Lillian Russell, a famous American actress and singer from the late 19th and early 20th century, refused to wear tights? During the time, when the garment was gaining popularity, public attention was diverted to Miss Russell because of her aversion towards it. It was assumed that nature did not bless her with a pair of great legs. Supporters of her however claimed that it was modesty and not legs issues that caused her refusal to wear the garment. But for my opinion, if Miss Russell just had the chance to see these beautiful printed flowery tights that I found, she would have had changed her mind. They are so inspiring that they make you forget winter and just dream of summer.

These tights are finds of The Kingdom of Style.

I am loving these tights so much, especially the first two. From the left: Multicolored Vintage Flower Print tights, available for $10.00 here, Flower Hippy Tights - pink $5.95 here and Foral tights for £3.00 from New Look.

Obviously, tights are back and these flowery beauties are a new black.

“I wasn't sure at first-I didn't want to run around in tights, swinging a sword.”

Worn out from work? Dress up and beat it!

Sitted at the cafeteria during lunch time on Friday, I, Daisy and Joy were able to talk after three weeks of no bonding. "What is happening to me?" was my question. Why do I feel angry and sad but I don't understand why? The girls chorussed, "That's exactly what I feel!"

We figured out that we three are suffering from depression due to burn out from work. My boyfriend is affected by the behavior that I was showing lately. I had no idea that Joy just had a fight with her boyfriend that morning, the same situation. As for Daisy, her husband is wondering why she easily gets mad even though he has done nothing but to pamper her with love and sweetness. These girls knew why.

Thus we decided we gotta beat it. Each took her phone, dialled a number and informed her man that "we three are going out tonight".

"Is it pay day?" was the question. Lol, "No." we replied. "We just need a girls' night out."

Indeed, we needed. And we dressed up. Isn't that the woman's best way of beating anything negative? Dressing up?
