Hello everyone! Thanks for all your hair related comments the other day! I trained as a hairdresser when I was 16, so I got pretty good at learning how to disguise and look after extensions for all of you who asked. I just got them from an extensions salon. I still like it longer, so I'll let it grow some more before I ditch them.
I got this velvet dress in London somewhere in Brick Lane. It's actually a Free People one, which is a brand I see a lot of American bloggers talking about. I love the embroidered detailing. My silver shoes were a gift from my parents last time they went to Paris. They are really ancient Roger Viviers, and I've only worn them around the house for fear of wrecking them, but what kind of life is that for such a pretty pair of shoes? I watched the film The Dreamers yesterday and it made me want to get these shoes out and invest in a couple of beautifully cut pencil skirts and a red beret. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I can still understand French when I got to the end and realised I didn't have the subtitles on, although when I come to speak it I get all tongue tied! Must watch more French films to brush up a bit. One day I'm moving back to Paris and I will immerse myself in all things Parisien.
