Hello everyone! Wow, how does a blog go from getting maybe 30 comments to over 100?! I'm sorry for not posting yesterday, I'm a little bit stretched, but still surviving! You may not be hearing from me daily anymore :( When I get home now all I feel like doing is going to sleep! I love being busy though, and this is the best kind of busy ever. I took some close ups around the shop today - it's so funny seeing such a pretty shop against the builder's tools and dusty henry hoover! I hope you like them! Really must clean the windows asap.
Collected the big chandelier from the light shop and the outside mannequin this morning, then fiddled around in the shop, trying to make concrete decisions about where to put everything, and then picked up my Nan from the station, which you can see from the shop window, so that was nice and easy. My sister will be 15 on Thursday so I'm letting myself have that day off to make her a groovy cake and decorate the house! (Party rings are currently buy 1 get 1 free in Sainsbury's so I went mad.) My older brother is coming down on Friday which will be amazing. I love when we all get together - my family is so important to me!
I'm wearing the jeans I mentioned the other day, I love them so much! I've never liked jeans before! They're not too flared but they kick out just enough. I threw away my ugly jeans a few weeks back and the other morning I realised I didn't own a single pair of trousers. Something had to be done, so I marched into town and these were the first pair I tried on. Who ever said jeans shopping was hard had obviously never been to Gap. Worn with my favourite vintage gypsy top which is falling apart. It was so lovely and warm today, such a welcome change from the wind and rain, and now I'm longing for Spring more than ever. Took my Burberry but didn't need it until the sun went down and it got chilly! I realise this has turned out to be a very long post. I get carried away when I miss a day blogging though!
Lastly, I just want to say a huge thank you to Jamie, from BlogReadhead, who has sent me some beautiful vintage jewelery, and to Laura, from Romance Is Boring, who kindly did a beautiful drawing of me on her blog! Thanks guys!
