Hi guys, I hope you're all enjoying the weekend! It's horrible and drizzly where I live - I had been hoping to get some snaps out and about with my sister but it was too horrid. We went to the shops and mooched around a vintage fair (I know - in the rain, we must be craaazy!) Whilst we were browsing the handle of my leather bag snapped in two and all my stuff (including my knitting) went rolling everywhere! The ball of wool unravelled - so embarrassing and funny at the same time. The first thing I laid my eyes on was this old basket and it was only a few quid so I just bought it to put all my soggy things in. I actually really like it, so now it is my bag - note my knitting needles sticking out which amused our builders greatly. We ran into one of my favourite people today - Pat. She's a friend of my Great-Grandmother's and the most stylish 80 year old I've ever met. We lend each other clothes sometimes! She is my style icon!

Took a visit to the shop today as well and took some pictures (again - great amusement to the builders!) It's so cool to have it right in town - now we don't have to pay a fiver every time we want a coffee! The floor is being laid today and tomorrow as you can see. It looks amazing and I can't wait to see the end result. We also bought the shop lights along our travels which are uber-cool chandeliers and an outdoor wire mannequin which holds flowers in the centre! What would a Flower Girl be without flowers? I can't wait til it's Spring and we can have a cascading, eruption of flowers outside - I can just see it now!

I'm wearing a vintage floral dress today, I love the way the pattern gets busier towards the bottom, eventually merging into a lovely field of flowers. Paired with my favourite booties and necklaces. The beauitful glass ring I'm wearing was sent to me from the lovely Arlie from Urban Revisions! It's so tactile and eye-catching, I got a couple of lovely comments about it! She also sent me this amazing shredded snood! She let me choose between four colours and I HAD to have this minty one (for reasons I'll expain later!) It's just perfect for throwing on - it's going to live in my basket for those nippy days! She makes some beautiful things which are for sale on her etsy store, so take a look when you can!

Take care guys! I can't believe how much my blog had grown lately, thank you!
