This is my favourite outfit in a while, I felt like a little girl this morning let loose in a dressing up box and all I wanted was some sort of fairytale/school girl outfit. I don't usually wear heels but I like the way these lace up.
My new-found friend the butterfly broach sits perfectly in the crook of my collar, I think you'll be seeing him sat on all my outfits for a while.
My best style inspiration comes after a good nights sleep when I wake up feeling fresh. I need a good 8 hours not to be all cranky and moody. Normally I'll be asleep by 10 or 11 like a good girl.
This flowery skirt was my mum's years ago, then my sister stole it and wore it as a top and this morning I had a route through her wardrobe and found it again. I like wearing skirts and shorts on my waist normally.
What have you all been feeling inspired by lately? For me it's been crisp mornings, messy tousled hair, hot frothy coffees, butterfly broaches and steamy bathroom mirrors. Don't ask me why though.
Today I'm wearing a knitted cardigan by Topshop, a vintage shirt, let's call it a vintage skirt due to the amount of time we've had it, new look heels, a vintage belt of my mum's from the 70s, a vintage butterfly broach from my Nana and necklace from a friend.
