As promised, I snapped some pics yesterday of my new NYE dress. I've been working on it for the past couple of days. Wanted to create this sheering effect of a black maxi dress with beaded shoulder detail. Went for a simple cut here. Not a big fun of overburdening garments with details (unless the whole thing is covered in them). It's either all or a very tiny bit ;-). Anyway, hope you guys like the dress, and I will definitely try to take some photos during the NYE party.
As for the other look, this is part of my Summer '11 collection Beachwear | Surfwear. This golden, random pattern fabric will also be in a couple of swimsuits I'm planning to make. And there will also be plenty of golden details. I'm so excited, cannot wait to start working on these, but I guess it will only be happening after I'm back from my little vacation. More details very soon.
