Moscow Fashion Week Day 1 (PONOMAREV)

A few updates on the Volvo Fashion Week in Moscow. Yesterday I had a chance to attend three amazing shows, which I must confess was totally exhausting and at the same time 100% worth it. I spent the whole day the the Moscow Gostiny Dvor where the event is hosted and was killing my feet going from show to show. The atmosphere was great, so many fabulous people all in one place and the shows were simply breathtaking. This FW is definitely something Russia can be proud of. Totally exceeded my expectations and this is just the beginning.

I wore H&M trend dress + H&M trend leather belt, River Island booties, Chloe bag

PONOMAREV presented his new "Pepel-Zola" collection inspired by slightly contradictory ashes and fire at the same time. There is definitely a strong rock 'n roll feel going on through the entire collection, which is predominantly in grey, black and silver shades, symbolising the remains of the fire as it is burned out. Yet, he brings a splash of colour into this very subtle palette by introducing a few evening gowns in scarlet red shades. I personally felt like the collection was very well put together + styling was spot on an I just loved these silver and metal accessories. The mix of textures was brilliant and even though there was quite a big chunk of details on every look, it somehow seemed to work perfectly for this particular collection.

Here is a little video for you to enjoy.

Have a lovely day and more photos coming soon
