Paris Denim

We soft of spontaneously went to Paris last Saturday. I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some pretty pictures, so I've picked up two pairs of my newly made (Winter collection) denim pants (the second pair will be featured in the following posts). I made these denim pants on Friday, exactly a day before the trip. To be honest at some point during the day I thought they were not going to be ready on. But, yeeeei, I did it.

These pants are a piece of my Winter 2010-11 collection, but I'm wearing them here with a white cotton and silk blended H&M shirt and a linen blazer for a Summer look. I'm happy it kind of works out both ways with the denim.

I went for a boot cut with these pants. Like the way they go down my wooden platforms just enough not to be wiping the ground. The upper part of the pants is very tight + low waist (that kind of construction works well with the denim that has a touch of polyester - 2%). I didn't put any pockets at the back on purpose. That's for a more defined silhouette really.

Bye, bye, Paris. I'm going to miss you.
