Violeta & Ekaterina

I had to deal with a bunch of things today preparing for the tomorrow's big sale. As we did invite two other Brussels designers (Caroline Foulon and Michael Guerisse O’Leary) everything had to be looking good and of course the usual tidying and cleaning. I did manage to get a little bit of work done and to take some pictures too. It appears that my best inspiration comes exactly 2-3 hours before the working day is over. And as a result I'm caught up in a nervous rush to finish everything I've started. Well, here is the new Violeta necklace. The idea is a little bit similar to the previous Ksenia necklace, only this time it is more prone to take a softer shape on the neck. I used some black lace and around which I wrapped alpaca yarn, holding it all together with a threat every now and then and a touch of Swarovski crystals.

I know this Blue Ekaterina necklace is not exactly a new piece, but I just thought I'd add it to the today's post as I finally found a perfect look to wear it with. Besides, now you get a slightly better idea how it works.
