Grey Knit

It is 00.09 am in Belgium and I've had a long day. Have been working lots for the last couple of days trying to finish some of the Winter things including that new military jacket. It's not yet done, so I'm posting the pictures of me wearing another one of my Winter creations (promise the jacket pictures are coming at the end of this week).

This knitted jumper dress is one of my favourite pieces. I made it a while ago, and have been wearing it since. It is actually a machine knit (which didn't take too long to finish) and it does have a little bit of embroidery at the front (i guess you've already noticed that I love adding these little details to my garments).

Hope you can see the details here. It's a flower shaped embroidery with some slightly random beading in the middle of each piece just to add a little volume and sparkle (well, not too much sparkle, just a touch). I've used 100% untreated wool here, which gave the dress this very natural feel (+ it is super warm in the Winter). It is kind of soft and at the same time chunky. I style it sometimes with a slim black belt around my waist, but this time around I wanted to create more freedom and movement.
