Warm sunny Summer days = colourful and fun clothing. So I wanted to make something pretty and cute, at the same time not too much out there. Well, you know what I mean. Something that can be a part of every girl's day wear, and yet with a little bit more styling you can put it on for a Saturday night out with your friends. I know we all wear jeans and most of us have so many different variations of the precious denim, ranging from classic straight, to boot cut and finally the new must have boyfriend jeans.
I found this gorgeous salmon pink denim fabric in a small store in Leuven (Belgium). At that point I didn't really have a clear idea of what exactly I was going to do with it, but I knew I had to have it. So I got the last 2,5 meters and only a couple of days ago I realised it will work perfectly for a pair of skinny jeans. To be honest with you I have never done pants before (was always more like a dress/skirt person), but now since I've figured out the way to make them, which is not as terrifying as I first thought, I will certainly be including more of these in my collections.
I did add some beaded details around the front pockets to give the pants a more chic and feminine look. Here I'm wearing them with a white loose H&M top and Office shoes. I didn't really want to over-accessorise this look, since the whole idea was to keep it clean and simple.
