I made this dress a while ago and it never actually became a part of my Summer Collection. It was more like a one off design, inspired by the fabric, which did not particularly work with the rest of my dresses. I loved the texture and the African print, which generated the idea of a long dress with the glass beading at the front. It's not specifically everybody's taste, but I thought it could look very cool on a hot summer day when you just can't be bothered to wear anything complicated.
To be honest it took me a while to complete the embroidery at the front, which left behind quite a few sleepless nights. I had to do it bit by bit and it really is a work that requires a lot of concentration. So if you do know any faster ways to do that, please, please let me know.
