This is going to be a little vintage celebration post. I went to Russia a few months ago and actually had a great opportunity to go through my grandmother's closet. Have to be honest with you here, there were some pretty gorgeous dresses hiding in that closet.
I'm not usually big on vintage stuff, but I do occasionally appreciate a good vintage design. This first dress was specifically tailored for my mother when she was about my age. I love the crochet finished collar and overall boldness of the design. A great source of inspiration for my next summer collection.


This piece is a result of mass production in the 70-80s. But I still thought I give it a chance. It actually works quite well with high heel courts and a black leather belt.
This one was specifically made for my grandmother about 25 years ago. As she is very petite, the dress was meant to be way longer and was not at all intended to be worn with a belt. Well, I had to make some little adjustments to fit the current trends and my (far from perfect) fashion perception. It worked quite well though.
