I made this dress as one the first pieces for my Summer Collection 2010. I thought it was the perfect start and I was in love with the colour of the fabric. I did some cotton filled balls on the sleeves, which gave the dress a slight futuristic look. Overall though, it is very girly, light and soft.
The summer is finally here (and by "here" I mean not only Belgium, but of course the rest of the world) and this piece is perfect for the warm sunny weather. I'd wear this dress with some golden ballerina pumps or wedges and a bulky leather tote. Surely, you can always style it with the filled Elena Vasilieva "Heloise" bag. We did a photo shoot with this kind of look and I thought the bag added a nice touch to the overall style. (the pictures are coming soon)
