So I was lucky enough to score a ticket to the Massive Attack concert, at Sidney Myer Music Bowl last weekend. It was awesome!!! The score was really unique with a new dark and rhythmic sound emerging. The performance also included a light show which was absolutely amazing (as you can see from some of the images below). The fact that it was a warm barmy night didn't go astray either! Highlights for me were of course old favourite "Teardrop" and "Splitting the Atom" from their new EP, Heligoland.
Attempting to get there (and getting distracted by hanging off fences with Black Sherbet) it's a miracle we made it on time!
Also Ewen Spencer has shot a documentary following gang members around their hometown of Birmingham. This documentary features as the video for Massive Attack's "Flat of the Blade".
