Längs- oder Quer-?
Breit oder eher dezent & schmal?
Im klassischen blau/weiß oder doch einmal etwas Neues ausprobieren? – Genau diese Fragen habe ich mir erst letztes Mal beim Einkaufen gestellt, denn der Streifentrend ist ja allgegenwertig & ein bisschen möchte ja jeder im „Trend-Fluss“ mitschwimmen, oder?
Fast in jeder Modezeitschrift findet man Bilder von perfekt gestylten Stars im trendy Streifen-Look. Also dachte ich mir: „Ja, das kann ich doch auch!“ (Wenn Miley Cyrus stylish im gestreiften Oversize Shirt zur coolen Jeansshort herumläuft, dann kann ich das doch schon lange ;)!)
In der Kabine eines bekannten Modehauses, sah die Wirklichkeit jedoch anders aus. Ich wirkte als ob ich vergessen hätte mein Pyjama Oberteil auszuziehen & an sich war das Shirt in Größe XS noch immer viel zu oversized!! (Es reichte mir fast bis zu den Knien...)
Im Endeffekt ging ich ohne Streifenshirt und mit geknickter Miene aus dem Geschäft und fand mich damit ab, dass ich nicht der Typ Mädchen war dem, Oversized Streifenshirt passen. Ich sah einfach nicht so locker, lässig wie Celebrities wie Miley Cyrus darin aus. (Ich habe auch nicht mehrere Stylisten, die sich darum kümmern, dass ich jeden Tag top gestylt aussehe!)
*kleine Anmerkung am Ende: Ich kam zwar nicht mit einem Shirt nachhause, dafür aber mit einem blau-weiß gestreiften Mini, der mich auf dem Weg zu Bahn, durch das Schaufenster förmlich anlächelte, da hieß es zugreifen & kaufen!
Also bin auch ich auf Streifzug gegangen und dabei fündig geworden!! J

In the classic blue / white, or at least try something new? - Exactly these questions I have asked myself recently last time when I was shopping, because the stripe trend is a big theme all over the world & everyone wants to take part at the "Trend-river swimming”, right?
In almost every fashion magazine you will find pictures of perfectly styled stars in the trendy stripe look. So I thought to myself: "Yes, I can too!" (If Miley Cyrus is looking stylish in a striped oversized shirt to a cool Jeans Short, then I can do it too ;)!)
In the cabin of a well-known shop the reality was much different. I looked like I had forgotten to take off my pyjama and the shirt was in size XS and it was still much to oversized! (It was too long, it nearly reached my knees ...)
In the end I went with no stripe shirt, with a sad and resigned myself to the fact that I was not one of the kind of the girls who´s looking good in oversized stripe shirts. I´m not looking as casual as celebrities like Miley Cyrus in it. (I have not several stylists who care about the fact that I look amazing every day!)
* Small note at the end: I didn´t come home with a shirt, but with a blue and white striped mini, which was smiling at me literally on the way to train, through the window, it was shouting “ Come on! BUY ME!!” … and I couldn´t resist…
So I also went on tour and did a little bit of “Stripe-Hunting”… and I found something!
