Zwitschernde Vögel, eine warme Brise, die strahlende Sonne, ein wenig Sand & Meer, ein paar Cocktails – sieht so eure perfekte Urlaubsvorstellung aus?? Ja?? Meine auch, doch leider sieht die Realität oft ganz anders aus.
In meinem Fall: eine riesige, chaotische Baustelle (meine Eltern hatten die glorreiche Idee mit 40 ein Haus zu bauen.. Yippie..), lauter halbnackte, verschwitzte Bauarbeiter (bevor ihr jetzt an durchtrainierte Arbeiter mit Sixpack denkt, meine Bauarbeiter sind 40+ und haben einen Bierbauch..), mein „Meeresrauschen“ ist das tosende Geräusch unserer Wasserpumpe und statt Cocktails gibt es Wasser aus der Leitung. Doch aus einem, mir noch unerklärlichen, Grund, sitze ich hier total relaxt und glücklich.. Obwohl um mich herum das totale Chaos herrscht und meine Eltern alle 5 Sekunden wegen den neuen Fliesen streiten, bin ich total entspannt und genieße die warmen Sonnenstrahlen auf der Haut, die leichte Brise und den Geruch des Grases.
Auf den ersten Blick sieht man oft die negativen Dinge zuerst, doch nach längerem Betrachten findet man auch auf einer chaotischen Baustelle das Paradies auf Erden – Urlaub zuhause kann doch auch schön sein, oder?? Und mit ein bisschen Unterstützung & Vorstellungskraft (und ein wenig Unterstützung meines I-pods und der Songs meines Lieblingsmusikers John Mayer) kann man aus einem Garten ganz schnell ein Urlaubsparadies machen!
Ein Hoch auf die Natur – und die Imagination....
Twittering birds, a warm breeze, the bright sun, some sand and sea, a few cocktails – is that your perfect vacation idea? Yes? Mine too, but unfortunately the reality is often quite different.
In my case: a huge, chaotic construction site (my parents had the bright idea to build a house with 40 .. Yippee ..), some half-naked, sweaty construction worker (before you think of well-trained workers with a six-pack, my construction workers are 40 + and have a beer belly ..), my "sound of the sea" is the thunderous sound of our water pump and instead cocktails I have water from the tap. But I am sitting here totally relaxed and happy (I'm not sure why) .. While all around me there is total chaos and my parents fight every 5 seconds because of the new tiles, I am totally relaxed and enjoy the warm sun rays on my skin, the breeze and the smell of the grass.
At first glance, you often see the negative things first, but after prolonged viewing there can also be found the paradise on earth on a chaotic construction site – vacation at home can also be beautiful, right?? And with a little imagination (and a little help of my I-pod and the songs of my favourite musician John Mayer), you can turn a garden very quickly into a vacation paradise!
